WebCan anyone comment on what would be the shallowest diff cover? Obviously stock would be the highest clearance, but I’m wary to trust it in a rock garden. WebAug 7, 2007 · For those that have installed the Riddler diff cover on their Dana 30, how did it fit. My bolt holes lined up, but on one, I couldn't get a socket on it, the edge of the bolt head was too close to the cover. Also the bottom of the diff guard sits about 1/4 higher than the bottom of the actual diff. WebMar 20, 2012 · The Riddler is a good diff. cover for the money. It is steel and very robust. I installed the ARB covers on mine with the Lubelocker gaskets. They are steel as well and have a very durable powder coating on them but they are a little more expensive than the Riddler. I've had Riddler's and now SOLID. The Riddler in front was HORRIBLE for diff cover vs track bar clearance. It required about 3-3.5" of bumpstop clearance to clear the aftermarket track bar.
