WebNov 23, 2007 · If I HAD to criticize, I would day that the spliced headstock is a tad cheesy but I understand they had to do that to keep the cost down because a slab of mahogany thick enough to make a neck/w angled headstock is a lot more costly. The did a fantastic job with the splice and it's not across any major structure like the tunes or a fret kerf!!
