WebNever did drywall before. I put up some new board in a few spots to fix holes, taped and finished it. Then the wall texture around would never match the flat spots, so I skim coated the whole room. After coat #3 I still have some pinholes (and small pits elsewhere) that need to be touched up. I already sanded it. It can still take multiple coats though.
